Lake Louise

Visit Lake Louise, home of one of the Canadian Rockies most pristine lakes. Stop in for tea at the Fairmount Lake Louise. Hike the Six Glaciers Plain amid many other trails as well. Check out Johnston Canyon on the way by.

• NB Crowchild Trail, through Calgary, turns into Hwy 1A.
• WB Hwy 1A through town of Cochrane.
• Through Cochrane, continue on Hwy 1A to Hwy 1.
• WB Hwy 1/Trans Canada to Banff National Park.
• Exit onto WB Bow Valley Parkway.
• Pass through Johnston Canyon.
• Pass through Castle Junction
• Cross Hwy 1/Trans Canada and arrive in Lake Louise.
• Follow road up mountain to Lake parking.
• To return, take EB Hwy 1/Trans Canada back to Calgary.
